Novelty architecture …advertising architecture

 Novelty architecture...

Once upon a time there where a building telling a story about his life about his users, stuff, client, products & his service …etc

This is what the novelty building do...it`s about the mass telling a story of her life so let us say
It`s a kind of architecture in which building shape & structures are given a clear message about its uses
Architecture takes the form of building that represents the products sold in side to attract the customers …such as giant fruits, vegetables, animals, monuments

lot of projects that considered as contemporary architecture under the hand of Deconstructivism is actually Novelty architecture. Practitioners include leading architects
Frank Gehry

Anti-Smoking Center IN Paris..Sustainable architecture

For almost two decades, I’ve been a victim of L.A.’s various pollutants. From the smog to the endless rows of uninspired strip malls that seem to pop up overnight, this otherwise terrific city has for too long been harmful to both the lungs and the eyes. What we need is more visual appeal combined with auto-sufficiency – something that not only looks incredible but contributes to a cleaner, healthier existence.
Leave it to the French to make my fantasy a reality. Vincent Callebaut’s Anti-Smog: An Innovation Centre in Sustainable Development accomplishes all this and more, using green building techniques and green technology to create a visually stunning center comprised of two structures that feature public spaces like meeting rooms, galleries, a cafeteria and a courtyard

But it’s not all flash – this ecological marvel is a self-sufficient entity that reacts to its environment and applies avant-garde renewable energies to purify the air of nasty Parisian smog. Labeled a “didactic prototype of ecological experimentations”, the center (or “centre”, for those of you who like to switch letters around unnecessarily) is a linear and emblematic site suspended above Paris’ canal de l’Ourcq that was envisioned as a place in which to educate French citizens on the importance of urban ecology and renewable energy.
Boasting 250 square meters of solar PV that produce more energy than the building uses, the “Solar Drop” structure is also coated with titanium dioxide, which reacts with the suns’ ultraviolet rays to create a photo-catalytic effect that actually breaks down smog in the air. (I don’t really understand what that means — but if it works, I don’t need to know the details.) It also harvests rainwater from the roof for use inside. Connected to the Solar Drop by bridge, the “Wind Tower” is a helical structure captures and utilizes the breeze coming off the canal.

Sustainable architecture

Sustainable architecture is designing buildings keeping in mind environmental goals and sustainable development. The terms green architecture or green buildings are often used interchangeably with sustainable architecture to promote this definition further. In a broader sense and taking into account the pressing economic and political issues, sustainable architecture seeks to reduce the negative environmental impact of the buildings by increasing efficiency and moderation in the utilization of building materials, energy and development space. Similarly, green architecture denotes economical, energy-saving, environmentally-friendly, sustainable development and explores the relationship between architecture and ecology.

WATER BUILDING RESORT, is a sustainable building of postmodern generation (HITECH), it was designed architecturally and inspired by the form of a DROP OF WATER when falling from the heights. It is a sustainable building, projected and thought to create conscience of the water.
WATER BUILDING RESORT not contributed alone the knowledge and culture to the coming generations, if not also financial profitability for their promoters and investors.

Designed by Orlando de Urrutia in the shape of a giant water drop, Water Building Resort is a hotel, a spa, a conference centre, an underwater aquarium — but, above all, will be the first building to convert air into water: in fact its south photovoltaic façade will power an equipment on the north façade which will convert condensation and humid air into potable water. This will be possible thanks to a brand newTeex Micron technology.

The bottom floor will house a sea and rain water treatment plant and a Cidemco centre for the technological investigation on water quality.

Digital Architecture

Digital Architecture (DA) The mix of human behavior analysis/research (social anthropology, web analytics, statistics, workshops) system hardware to create software in digital based system design. Including business process interpretation, user centered design, usability, accessibility, for web based systems and more specifically the input and output methodologies involved in human interaction (CHI/HCI) with computerized environments.

Digital Architecture is often mistakenly associated with information architecture which often produces a limited view on digital projects. However Digital Architecture should be considered as specifically pertaining to digitized processes, interactive system architecture and dynamic data driven systems as distinct from processes that do not involve technology.
A Digital Architect is a person of digital knowledge, practice and experience combined with a high level of creativity and a structured approach to digital projects. Digital Architects are not business analysts, information architects, user interface designers, graphic designers, developers or project managers rather they have a hybrid experience of the digital realm associated with a multi-disciplinary knowledge.

Art Nouveau

Art Nouveau

is an international movement and style of art , architecture and  applied art—especially the decorative arts —that peaked in popularity at the turn of the 20th century (1890–1905
In architecture, hyperbolas and parabolas in windows, arches, and doors are common and decorative moldings 'grow' into plant-derived forms. Like most design styles, Art Nouveau sought to harmonize its forms. The text above the Paris Metro entrance follows the qualities of the rest of the iron work in the structure.
Art Nouveau in architecture and interior design eschewed the eclectic revival styles of the Victoria era. Though Art Nouveau designers selected and 'modernized' some of the more abstract elements of Rococo style, such as flame and shell textures, they also advocated the use of highly stylized organic forms as a source of inspiration, expanding the 'natural' repertoire to embrace seaweed, grasses, and insects.
